The work of Niko Edwards contemplates the universe, while exploring dimensional space and the vernacular of science fiction films. As a child, Edwards read many books about the cosmos and often felt that he was an alien himself.
Through his installations and paintings, he wanted to explore his ideas about the universe and alien lifeforms. Edwards started creating videos and short films at the age of 18. He had many abstract and surreal ideas that he wanted to try out.
While filming and documenting his installations, his video work would evolve to become more cinematic and inspired by the world of science fiction
